Comments and user registrations temporarily disabled

As you can imagine, with the blog only a few hours old (a few days at most, by the time you’re likely reading this), there are a lot of places where the paint’s not yet dry, and things aren’t quite working smoothly.

The most irritating symptom of this is the fact that I’ve had to disable all comments and user registrations. This is just a temporary measure to prevent the inevitable flood of spam until I get all the spam filters up and running. Once I’ve got those things in place, everything will be open as it’s always been. In the meantime, I’m holding off on putting up any real content – especially stuff that people might want to comment on.

If you want to get a hold of me, the best way to do it is always either via Diaspora* – where I am Indi on joindiaspora.com – or via StatusNet – where I am @indi on quitter.se.
