Religious intolerance refers to bigotry of religious traditions against other religions, or no religion at all, in theory and in practice, ranging from making disparaging or threatening statements against other belief systems, or outright repression or violence. Because of the nature of religion as based on items of faith, no one religion has any basis from which to judge or criticize the items of faith of other religions, though that rarely stops them from trying.
